January is almost over but we still have two months left of depressing weather and darkness (if you made a decision to do like me and live on the north part of the globe). In times like these it can be difficult to find motivation in your everyday life even if you normally enjoy your work. Feeling lost is not an unusual feeling in January. A new year means new opportunities and you may want to do big changes in your life like breaking a habit or starting a new adventure but have idea how to do it or what do you really want to do.
Finding purpose is difficult even if you know what you want to achieve. Because purpose is not about achieving things but more about finding a true meaning of your life and your place on this earth. When we are struggling with something it is easy to turn inwards and ask ourselves why are we even doing the things we are doing. What is the purpose?
Finding purpose in your everyday life is not easy but there are ways to get a bit on the way.
How To Find Purpose In Your Everyday Life
Do more things
Instead of question yourself “What is the right thing to do?” – try lots of things. There is not a solo thing that would make you happy and satisfied but a combination of things. Go out there and try new things. If you take action and do more you have better chance of finding your purpose.
Do not overthink – let the universe guide you
Stop worrying and overthink every single thing in your life, instead let the universe guide you and lead you to your purpose. Sometimes it is best to not push yourself too hard but to sit back and relax and let the energy flow within you and monitor your actions into the right direction.
Use your heart instead of your head
Your logical brain may want you to take decisions in your life that looks good on paper instead of finding your true calling. Stop being logical and ask your heart what will help you to grow and live an inspired life, we all have the passion within us and the actions are there to take . We just need the courage to turn off the outside expectations and let our heart lead the way.
